We want you to have the opportunity to try out the CareMate® Service to be sure that it is right for you and your senior loved one.

How To Trial

The following provides an overview of the steps involved in trialling the CareMate® Service:

• Step 1 : Register Online

The first step is to register online. You do this by entering a bit of information about yourself, on ur website, and selecting a user id and a password.

Registering enables you to use the CaeMate Service. In additon, by having to log in into the CareMate Service (using your user id and password), you keep all the information that you enter into the CareMate Service private and secure.

• Step 2 : Pick The Type Of Trial

Before introducing the CareMate Service to your senior, we highly recommend that you review and try out the examples in our trial guide in order to fully understand how our service works. Although the CareMate Service is designed to be easy to use, some effort is required to fully understand what to expect when the CareMate Service is set up for your needs.

We feel that by trying the CareMate Service yourself, you will be better able to explain how the service will work for your senior and the best way to schedule the reminder calls. There are three types of Trials that you can carry out:

• Quick Trial
• Trial Without Senior
• Trial With Senior
• Step 3 : Refer to the Trialling Guide

Refer to the Trialling Guide associated with the type of trial that you are carrying out. Each Trialling Guide provides valuable, detailed information on getting the most from your trialling. The Guide will enable you to have a pleasant, productive experience as you trial the CareMate Service. And it will make it easy to do the trial.

You will have access to these Guides after you register. They will be in the Online Library.

• Step 4 : Trial The CareMate Service

You can trial the CareMate Service for up to 3 weeks for free. When you trial the CareMate Service, you will have full access to all the features and functions of the Service. We limit the number of reminders and messages that can be automatically delivered to the senior, by telephone, during the trial. You can deliver up to 35 reminders and messages in total.

During the trial period, we may send you a few informational e-mails.

• Step 5 : Explore The CareMate Service

After the Trial, you can continue to “explore” the CareMate Service for an extended period of time. What this means is that you can access and use all the features of the CareMate Service, except that the CareMate Service will not deliver any reminder telephone calls to the senior, or any text message alerts to the family caregiver.

During this time, we may send you a few informational e-mails.

• Step 6 : Sign Up For The Full Version Of The CareMate Service

After the trial, or even during the trial, if you feel that the CareMate Service would be of value to you and your senior loved one, you can get access to the full version of the CareMate Service, by paying for a subscription to the CareMate Service.

You can cancel your subscription to the CareMate Service at any time.
